Well, we've already got a music thread going... so why not have a movie discussion thread?
My favourite movie is probably either Pirates of the Caribbean or The Producers. My favourite genre is definitely comedy, I very rarely enjoy a film unless it has some comedy in it, black or not.
What about everyone/anyone else?

LOTR is defo one (three) of my favourites.
The Warriors is an awesome film, 28 Days Later, Bridget Jones (of course), wallace and gromit, narnia (although the old one is still the best), Higlander, Empire Records, Ladies in Lavender, Sweet Sixteen (not some girly american teen romcom before u say anything, actually its a gritty representation of the life of a sixteen yr old glaswegian boy, By Ken Loach), dirty dancing (i kno its bad but i cant help loving it!) and pretty much anything with johnny depp in it espcecially Ed Wood ('im going to tell you something ive never told another woman before, i like to dress up in womens clothing,' 'u mean u dont like having sex with women?' 'oh no, i love having sex with women') and its not because i fancy him.

I also love all the Harry Potter films, despite the fact that they miss out half the plot and get things wrong Ed Wood is awesome, I think Johnny Depp is an amazing actor. And I fancy him. But never mind The Star Wars films I've seen I loved, but I only got into it recently, so I've only seen 2, 3, and 4.

LOTR is fooking awesome! sadly enough i dedicated like 5 yrs of my life to it! lol
i like HP 3 and 4, but 1 and 2 are a bit wank (still have them on dvd tho) i hate how theyve twisted the story, they didnt need to do it, i cud have done a better script! and they was no way enough quidditch!
i *heart* johnny depp, not cos i fancy him tho, hes a fantastic actor and i have a lot of respect for him.
LOVE star wars, seen all of them and ive got the original trilogy on dvd, i like the newer triliogy too although i kno a lot of ppl hate it and its been slated completely, but i love it anyway!

Obvious ones offhand are the Kevin Smith movies (Chasing Amy's my top, followed closely by Mallrats).
Transformers: The Movie (an absolute classic - I'm both excited and concerned about the new one...)
Saved is a new favourite. A film starring Mandy Moore and Macauley Culkin shouldn't be that good.
I also really need to get I (Heart) Huckabees on DVD. There's nothing funnier than watching two blokes hit each other in the face with spacehoppers... ;D

Haha, I admit I like the Olsen twins films too. Not as much as Lindsay Lohan ones, though, which is really worrying...
