thats a lie. the whole battered mars bar thing was blown out of proportion, it happened in one chippie once then someone got hold of it and it blew up. although they do do battered pizzas which is just gross. but ppl just do it to themselves.

yeah but it started as just one then everyone got a hold of it. and in fact, in glasgow battered mars bars arent on the menu, u have to take it in yourself and ask them to deep fry it for you.

yes but the 'north' implies the north of this country. living in the UK the north and south mean the north and south of england, seei ng as theres such competition/rivalry between the two and theyve pretty much become seperate countries. therefore u say the north, u mean the north of england unless u state otherwise .

actually i count scotland as part of the uk although technically another country still part of britain and not seperated from england by anything other than a ridiculously small wall. it is still part of the same land mass. your argument still doesnt work because if i said if you go far enough north you'll get to the north pole you wouldnt think that i was saying that the north pole is in england. the fact that you chose to interpret what i said wrongly is a fault of yours not mine

but ur talking technically and officially, it is always implied and is an unofficial law that wen talking of the north u mean the north of england. if ur ignorant of that then thats ur fault not mine ! besides if u were to say the north pole u wud be stating that u were talking about a north that wasnt the north of england, and i wudnt be so stupid as to assume that a place in a whole different continent was in england anyway. and, are you saying that, seeing as Scotland is part of the UK and because it is part of the same land mass, it is not a separate country in its own right? and wen talking of england u must always include Scotland? and assuming u do mean that, do u also mean that u have to include n. ireland and wales too? and in that case are n. ireland and wales also not countries in their own right, even tho n. ireland is in fact not in the same land mass? and if we're talking about land mass, does this also mean that if ur talking about a country in europe or africa or south america, do u have to include all the countries wen talking generally? wen ur talking about a country do u have to specify that ur not including the countries around it? if we're gona go by continents here then just say! hehe sorry, i get carried away. i kno what u meant, i just dont like loosing 'debates'.
