lol aye, i was debating with my friend the other day about the effect 'pretend' violent pornography has on ppl and whether it shud be banned or not. it was fun, i felt all intelligent! although the subject matter wasnt fun

i took the side that even 'pretend' violent pornography should be banned because it encourages ppl to think its ok if its readily available. and those kind of ppl who are likely to go out and assault ppl are only going to be encouraged by things like violent pornography to cause greater atrocities. she made hte point that u have to go looking for extreme pornography tho so those ppl who look at it are already into it, which is a good point, but she didnt believe me when i said that if it wasnt as readily available then it wouldnt have such a bad effect on ppl.

true, but violent pornography is more extreme. you do have to go looking for it, i havent myself but my friend did a paper on pornography so she had to research it and she said that to get to violent porn u actually have to be seraching specifically for violent porn. so its not exactly like its totally readily available, but its still legal, still more available than if it were illegal.
